Innovate. Learn. Serve.

Help us reach the kids who get left out

NeuroSpark runs on people giving time, not on fees. If you can judge a round, speak to a room of students, or support Alzheimer's research, there is a place for you here — and no neuroscience background is required.

Judges and guest speakers

Score a round, or talk to students about your work. Our January 2026 competition was judged by assistant professors from the University of Washington's neuroscience department, and students still talk about the pep talk that opened the day.

Volunteers

Help with registration, run a round, keep the day moving. Training is provided, and it is a genuinely good way for a high school student to build experience.

Partners and in-kind sponsors

We are looking for organisations that can offer a venue, materials, prizes, or expertise. Biolympiads sponsors our Junior Neuro Bee prizes; the Alzheimer's Association is our fundraising partner.

Volunteer or judge interest form

Tell us a little about yourself and how you would like to help. We will be in touch before the next event.

No neuroscience background is required to help.

Students: start here

If you are a student who wants to learn, you do not need to apply, pay, or wait. The community is open and free.
